Decorating jars

I was feeling very creative today. So I decorated some jars using a hot glue gun and some old nail polishes for colour.
some of the colours I had to mix together to create the right colour but the glue dried really quickly. 

Visual Communication

This week I have been attending a workshop on Visual Communication.  Doing this has made me more aware of the different signs and lettering around me. I have noticed I am picking out differences between logos and I am thinking of different reasons as to why they have chosen that certain type.

One thing I had to do was draw everything I see In a kitchen cupboard. I found it difficult to copy the letter so they were the same, But I still really enjoyed it too. It has inspired me to try and draw more everyday items.

I think the most interesting part of this workshop was learning about all the different ways you can type a word and also how the style and colour of the word should blend in with the actual product.

Overall, I have learnt so much this week and it has made me more aware of what's around me.

Sara Fanelli

I find sara fanelli's work rather interesting. I like her use of colour and texture in her pictures.

Noma Bar

Im loving Noma Bars work right now. The use of bold block colours really catch my eye!

Indian Bride

I love all the colours they use at an Indian wedding. It was so interesting and inspiring when I researched what happens and how they dress and look for a wedding.

I thought id give it a go creating my own Indian Bride look.

Jesper Munk

After going through endless youtube videos, I stumbled across this singer called Jesper munk. When I first heard his voice I thought why havent I heard of him before. He has such a unique voice. He reminds me alot of Tom Odell but Jesper sing more blues music than the style Tom plays. Jespers album is incredable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.  For me personally his music is calming which is one of the main reasons I like it. Overall, he is a very tallented young man.

Melted skin

Today I wanted to use something I havent tried before. 3D gelatin. I had to heat it up and wait for the gelatin to melt and cool down before using it but I am happy with how it all turned out. It can create amazing effects on the skin and im definitely going to be using it more often in my work.
